Installing

Installers for Windows and macOS can be found under the Assets for each release on the release page.

Windows installers are .exe files, and macOS installers are .dmg disk image files.

macOS Instructions

Because Segmentor is not macOS verified, you may need to take the following steps to install it:

1. Try to open the .dmg file. You will get a warning message that says the application can not be verified. Click the question mark at the bottom left corner (circled in red).

2. After clicking the question mark, click "Open the General pane for me" (highlighted in yellow).

3. You will then be taken to the settings page. Press the lock (circled in red) and enter your password (or use your fingerprint) when prompted to unlock the settings.

4. Keeping the now unlocked settings page open, close the original warning message and try opening Segmentor again. By doing so, a message will pop up on the settings page asking you to "Open Anyway" (circled in red). Click this then lock the settings by pressing the lock again.

5. Close the verification warning one last time and attempt to open Segmentor. Now you should be able to successfully open the application.
