Gabrielle Rabinowitz
Lead Teacher, AMNH BridgeUP: STEM
Gabrielle Rabinowitz works as Lead Teacher for the AMNH BridgeUP: STEM program, an education program focused on the intersection of computer science and science. BridgeUP: STEM includes programs for high school girls, a one-year post-baccalaureate fellowship for women, middle school institutes, and the annual hackathon. The program is generously funded by the Helen Gurley Brown Revocable Trust for the American Museum of Natural History’s BridgeUP: STEM initiative.
Gabrielle teaches middle school students and high school girls how to use Python in a science context, develops curricula for the program, and provides guidance for the educational component of the BridgeUP: STEM Helen Fellowships. She earned her BS in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from Yale University, and her Masters in Biology from Rockefeller University.
