Museum Specialist, Meteorites, Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences
Samuel Alpert is the Museum Specialist for the meteorite collection at the AMNH in the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences. He is also a Ph.D. student at the CUNY Graduate Center with Dr. Denton Ebel as his adviser. His research focuses on the opaque phases in the uneqilibrated ordinary chondrites, a group of highly pristine meteorites from the early Solar System.
