• capgen should keep cap names under 63 characters (12 hours) #337
  • Mike merged PR (https://github.com/NCAR/ccpp-framework/pull/455) that implements this cap on suite name length.
  • Mike is experimenting with adding more pytest tests to tests/ directory, will document the process for future users.

Other business

• Will we get more non-DTC NCAR representation for future framework meetings?
  • Will be joined next time by Courtney Peverley and Jesse Nusbaumer from CGD
  • No firm answers from Louisa
  • Reach out to Gretchen for MMM representation?
• NOAA software engineer position still open, but timeline is uncertain
• Steve will be in touch via email about his future availability and meeting times
  • Potentially Thursday 9am MT?
