Other business

• Updates from Courtney and Steve:

  • Adding three new metadata fields:
    • advected: boolean
    • molar_mass: float
    • input_names: list (list of possible input names to be read from input data file)
  • Also adding a new interface that returns the list of input_names for each suite variable.

• Setting a different meeting time, so Jesse Nusbaumer can attend as well?

• NCAR's CESM Atmospheric working group will be held the week of Jan 30. We will not be able to attend this meeting that Tuesday

Older GitHub Issue opened by Steve

• Ready to merge into Capgen branch.
• Mike will look into opening counterpart into CCPP-prebuild.

CIRA job opening closes today. Federal job closed on 1/10.

We still have some of Steve’s time… Add new metadata constituents? (Advected, molar-mass, input name list -> maybe rename “variable alias something…”) Host-model needs to know the constituents

Matt Dawson asked. Molar-mass units?

Ligia brought up a good point about coordinating the framework development.

No meeting in two weeks (1/31). Will meet next week (1/24).
