The benefits to the client (Bruce MacDonald) are more abstract than tangible. The success of this project would prove to the client that his software students can design and simulate a robotic healthcare service using ROS. This would benefit him by confirming that his teaching is truly having an impact on his students. A secondary benefit to the client would be the knowledge that the next generation of humans are a step closer to actually implementing a robotic healthcare system to look after him in his twilight years.

The benefit of project success to the project group itself are strictly defined. A well planned, implemented and presented project will result in A+ grades for all students in the SOFTENG 306 project group.
